An antique early 20th century british royal air force fe8 fighter aircraft propeller, manufactured by darracq for the royal aircraft factory. The fe8 was a single-seat british fighter used during the first world war. This lightweight wooden propeller features brass-tipped blades and a highly polished central hub, and is fitted with a fixing for wall mounting.
darracq & co, a british-french motorcar manufacturer, produced these propellers in england between 1915 and 1916 for his majesty’s government, as recorded on the original label.
