For sale is an antique sideboard cabinet made by the well known manufacturer Berkey & Gay from the late 20's … Read more For sale is an antique sideboard cabinet made by the well known manufacturer Berkey & Gay from the late 20's - early 30's. This piece is part of a matching 4 piece dining Set, with the other pieces also listed for sale individually. The cabinet is all hand carved on solid walnut, with burl wood accents. There is also a nice inlay on top under the glass. There is one large cabinet door that opens up to a single large shelf. On top is a custom cut glass pane to both protect the wood and enhance the displayability. This particular piece does not have the Berkey & Gay makers mark, however it is clearly from the same set as the other pieces that do have it. The entire set was recently professionally refinished and really looks amazing in person. Set may have some very small imperfections just from normal use and being about 100 years old, but very hard to notice if any. The longer you look the more intricate details you continue to notice. It is both a piece of furniture and art.
