A joyful radiant mid-century interior still life that captures a sunlit window scene in full bloom, executed in oil onto canvas.

In the foreground, a tall turquoise glass jug brims with freshly cut lavender, its lilac blossoms arching gently outward. Resting beside it on the windowsill are three ripe fruit, their warm red and golden tones offering a rich counterpoint to the cool palette that surrounds them. Beyond the glass, lush greenery presses against the pane, suggesting a garden just beyond the interior space.

Executed in a lively, expressive mid-century style, the forms are loosely defined yet confidently structured, with simplified shapes and a focus on colour harmony over strict realism. The vertical and horizontal lines of the window frame anchor the scene, creating a subtle geometric structure within the organic abundance of foliage and flowers.
