Late 20th C. Moulded Plastic Club / Side Chair - Big Blue Hand.
Contemporary? Pop Art? Modern? Not sure how best to categories this but it is charming, well-weighted, and delightful to see.
Bright blue solid dense form, with portioned details of a right hand formed into a chair.
Pedestal base is 18" square. Chair is 33" tall to the longest finger, and 25" by 25" in the center of the hand.
In this case, the pictures truly do tell a 1000 word story - check this out and imagine all the ways you could enjoy it.

Isn't this wild?
My husband's first comment when I brought this home was "can you really sit in it?" Indeed you can - and it is surprisingly comfortable, even for his 6" 230lb frame.
