Stunning and elegant 4-panel Japanese Byobu (folding screen), depicting a Tit, Chrysanthemums and other flowers. Signed and sealed by artist. Gouache, watercolor and ink on gold-leaf style foil plates over paper. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with beautifully engraved copper corners and medallions. Paper and original label on back. Japan, Shōwa Era, circa 1970-1980s. Very Good condition - minor age wear overall, few small repairs on paper back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
