Very pretty Japanese 4-panel painted silk Byobu (folding screen) depicts a graceful scene with Sparrows at Bamboo Forest. Signed and sealed by artist. Watercolor and ink on silk. Silk border. Painted gold wood frame with reticulated brass corners. Original label and fabric over paper on back. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1970s. Very Good condition - no damage to the painting, some age wear to the frame, extensive age wear and repairs on back, clean, sturdy.
