There are some edge dings and surface scratches throughout. Kick marks and scuffs on the sides and bottom edges. The top of the writing surface has a few deeper scratches (see photos). Drawers open and close with ease and the hardware is all intact and functional. Overall an excellent writing desk with a great classic look. 8.5/10 less
