This double teak desk, designed by Erik Brouer for the renowned Brouer Møbelfabrik, is a characteristic piece of Danish mid-century design from the 1960s. The desk has been expertly restored, bringing out the warm, vibrant grain of the teak in all its glory. The absolute highlight of this design is its perfect symmetry: the desk is identical from both the front and back. This means it can be used as a fully functional workspace from either side. This unique feature makes it ideal for freestanding placement in a room, where it acts as a central design element, fostering collaboration and creative exchange. The construction features a continuous teak frame with drawers integrated to the right and left of the central work area. These drawers provide practical storage space on both sides without disrupting the desk's clean, floating aesthetic. The meticulous craftsmanship for which Brouer Møbelfabrik is known is evident in every joint and edge. Further dimensions: Seat width 57 cm, Tabletop height (seat area) 63.5 cm
