Rare early pair of Eero Saarinen Tulip Pedestal Swivel chairs designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1956.
Sculpted tulip-like base that is composed of powder-coated cast aluminum, and the shell is formed of molded fiberglass.
First generation bowtie tag by Knoll Madison avenue.
Wonderful examples in excellent vintage condition. The seat pads have a small discoloration, new covers could be made by a seamstress, foam is soft.
