A fantastic mid century double caned bergere chair made by Hendrix Allardyce.
Also know as The Key West Chair.
A large carved wood frame with caned sides and back.

The arms end in scrolls. A large comfortable seat with a removable cushion.
Original wood finish. Minor wood surface wear.
The upholstery is in good condition with minor wear.

The caning has an almost interior and exterior double layer.
The back exterior of the double caning has cracks as shown. The new owner could live with this as t is on the bottom back or have someone repair that section of caning.

The back rest has a few small caning cracks/dent as shown.
Someone with a little handy work could try and repair the caning by hand with glue etc.
Sold as is.



Upholstery has minor wear and is nice and soft as designed and intended. See less
