Demijohn / Carboy originally used for transporting wine back in the day. Composed of 'blown-to-mold' glass (a method accepted as 'hand-blowing') exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself. Attractive green shade with sizable air bubbles throughout.
I am assuming this is from the Mid-20th century, Italy. It is from the home of Mrs. Davis in Florida. She had many more bottles that were marked italy. This was the largest bottle she had and there is not markings on it.
Very Large size measuring 27” Tall and has a Diameter of 19” wide at the largest point.
