Loch Vale is a glacial cirque valley within Rocky Mountain National Park, one of Byxbe's favored subjects. Byxbe prepared his own copper plates and pulled many of his prints himself, and his work is documented in a published catalog raisonné by Robert L. Crump. Image shows characteristic fine line work and tonal control. Presented in a black-painted wood frame with mat. Some foxing to mat; frame has paint wear consistent with age. See less
