This modernist Mexican letter opener pairs a carved green onyx handle with a sterling silver twin-tine blade, with small oval terminals at the base of each tine adding a refined decorative detail. The onyx shows good natural banding and the piece has the hand-finished quality typical of Mexican silver craft production. Marked 925.
