This is a painted French Provincial / French country side chair. It has a carved leaf crest rail, two shaped ladder slats below the crest, a scalloped seat apron, cabriole legs, and an H-stretcher base. The frame is painted sky blue. The upholstered seat is a textured charcoal-gray chenille-type fabric, which reads dark gray to slightly purple depending on the light. It works as a vanity, desk, entry or accent chair.
CONDITION (please read): This is used vintage condition. The blue finish is painted (possibly not the original finish) and has small chips, rubs and wear marks, mostly on the edges, legs and crest. The seat fabric looks clean in my photos. Please look through all the photos and ask any questions before you buy.
Approx. dimensions: 19"W x 21"D x 37"H. Seat height 18".
