The prints were puchased from a Palm Beach estate and had been custom framed by sellers. Linden was responsible for the importation of 1,100 orchid species to Europe. After 10 years of hunting Orchids in the West Indies and in South America, Linden returned to Europe and founded Horticulture Internationelle. The reason behind his study was to educate people as to the newly introduced Orchid plants. This Orchid lithograph is in very good condition. The Lithograph has a linen matt encased by gold twisted edging and the frame has a dark burled distressed wood appearance and is in good condition.
