The fab color of this mid century French Louis XV style Bergere armchair. Covered in its original yellow velvet upholstery, the chair is a stunner for someone seeking a bit of color in a classic style of chair.

The original union New York, NY makers tag is still intact under the removable down filled seat cushion.

The walnut frame has its original wood finish. The frame is tight.
The down filled seat cushion is removable with a zipper back if someone is looking to replace the cushion. It is soft as intended.

The upholstery has some spots and general light wear from use and age. We have tried to photograph the small spots or faded areas near the spots. Generally the spots do not greatly diminish from the look of this fine chair. Use as is. Or have to lightly cleaned. Or upholster in a fun new fabric (but wow, the color f this original fabric.)
