Leather upholstery Molded internal frame with foam padding Black lacquered steel swivel base An iconic Langonda lounge chair designed by Claudio Salocchi in 1988 and produced by Rossi di Albizzate, one of the most refined Italian upholstery manufacturers of the late 20th century. This sculptural lounge chair perfectly embodies late 1980s Italian design — bold, architectural, yet exceptionally comfortable. The design features a dramatic asymmetrical silhouette with an integrated chaise extension, creating a dynamic and fluid seating form. The chair is upholstered in soft turquoise leather with elegant vertical channel stitching along the inner backrest and sides, enhancing its enveloping curvature. The leather shows a natural patina consistent with age, adding character to the piece. It rests on a black lacquered metal swivel base with four radiating feet and a central pivot mechanism. The rear is supported by slender black metal rods that visually lighten the generous volume of the upholstered body. The original manufacturer’s label “Lagonda – Rossi di Albizzate – design C. Salocchi” is present on the base.
