this allowed for a casting process, enabling the desk to be produced in one piece with all its curves.
the writing surface can be lifted using a knob located underneath it.
there is storage space under the writing surface.
the desk has been restored in ral 9016 velour and is in very good condition.
the desk's old plastic drawers have been replaced with solid maple drawers with soft-close mechanisms.
the shelving unit has been lovingly restored as well; the old particleboard doors have been replaced with mdf.
