This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It features ebonized trim and is finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are three dovetailed drawers, the two on the sides feature original bronze pulls. The center drawer has a working lock and key. The tapered legs add a sculptural element. The desk is topped with a black moleskin writing surface. This piece is in very nice vintage condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
