We have for your consideration a very rare pair of lounge arm chairs manufactured by heywood Wakefield furniture company. Model of these chairs in there catalog is m340c. Very rare model that doesn’t come up for sale too often. Chairs both have been restored from top to bottom from brand new upholstery done by a professional and they look amazing. Fabric is a soft pink valve and velvet style pattern that compliments the pink fabric. Chairs both consists of brand new foam adding even more comfort to these amazing pair of chairs. Chairs consists of solid maple wood all refinished by a professional and they look amazing! Chairs have been refinished in there original wheat color stain that we purchased online to match the original wheat tone color. Both chairs have been refinished in a smooth semi gloss lacquer sheen finis that highlights the wheat tone. These pair of chairs are solid and sound and sturdy in fact we also went thru the joinery to make sure a top notch set of chairs is being purchased to accommodate our high quality work and reputation. These chairs are not signed with any tags or stamps. These chairs will compliment your vintage art deco mid century modern decor and will grace your mid century modern home.
Note: keep in mind these are a newer finish and might not match your existing wheat finish on your original heywood Wakefield pieces. All vintage wheat tones shade differently and have faded or sunbleached thru out time and shades of the finish change. So please keep in mind these are a wheat finish but more of how the factory created them off the line when they were new in the 1940s.
