This vintage backless bench from France has an upholstered seat, set within a carved wood frame with gracefully scalloped skirting on all sides, adorned with foliate accents. It is raised on six cabriole legs, which are supported just above the ankles with curvy u-shaped stretchers that connect to one another; giving good visual interest to the space beneath the bench. The wood is highlighted with a grey/blue accent trim. The upholstery is due for a refresher. This French carved-wood bench, approximately 4 feet in length, will be a beautiful addition placed at the foot of a bed, within an entry hall, or perhaps floated within a room to help visually divide space.
