The … Read more This vintage studio pottery vase features a sculptural, double-form silhouette with a flared lower body and tall cylindrical neck. The surface is finished in a matte, speckled off-white glaze, complemented by an earth-toned rim treatment in shades of brown, charcoal, olive, and muted grey.
Both sides of the lower body are decorated with applied relief elements, creating dimensional texture and visual contrast against the smooth glazed surface. The relief design incorporates layered, organic forms and geometric accents in coordinating neutral tones, adding depth and a handcrafted quality to the piece.
The vase appears wheel-thrown, as evidenced by visible interior throwing rings, and is finished with a glazed rim and unglazed base. The underside bears an impressed maker's mark.
