The goblet is in the style of an ancient Roman Kanthanos, which was a traditional Greek cup for drinking, later adapted to decorative glass forms. It is hand blown with a rough satin or frosted finish. The small bubbles (seeds) in the glass are indicative of artisanal or hand blown production. It has a deep bowl, a pedestal base, 2 applied high swinging handles and a pontil base. It measures 6.75 inches tall with a 4.5 inch mouth and 4 inch base. The goblet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other damage. See less
