The design has a distinctive, minimalist form typical of European design of the 1960s, combining functionality with the decorative aesthetics of mid-century modern.
The casing is made of black plastic with contrasting white typography. On the left side, there is a sliding date indicator (1–31) that allows you to manually set the current day of the month. On the right side, there is a classic liquid thermometer with a scale in degrees Celsius.
Items of this type were a popular feature of kitchens and offices in Western Europe in the 1960s and 1970s, and today they are an interesting example of functional design from the modernist era.
Condition: very good vintage condition, minor signs of wear consistent with age. The thermometer is legible and decorative.
