This mannequin, tailor’s n.y., comes from the italian company of the same name, founded in 1969 in reggio emilia, and is internationally renowned for its craftsmanship and the quality of its handmade mannequins.

the bust presents a clean, straight male silhouette, reminiscent of the 1980s based on the materials used and the markings.

it is covered in a robust cotton, chosen for its durability and ability to maintain the mannequin's shape. The marking tv5050 is believed to be an internal workshop code, where “tv” stands for tailor version, designating a bust calibrated for the male physique, and “5050” corresponds to the standardized model reference.

the adjustable, solid-stamped steel base ensures perfect stability. The central mast is equipped with a visible helical spring, designed to absorb shocks during height adjustments in the workshop.

the metal armhole trims allow clothing to slide easily without snagging. These trims appear to be either galvanized steel or brushed aluminum.
