Circa early 1980s, this hefty piece feels sculptural and minimal, and easily slips into Coastal and Organic Modern spaces. It would be great to add coziness outside of an entrance with some potted plants. As a landing spot for packages and groceries, it would be practical, as well.

The paint wash is original and could continue to be enjoyed, or allowed to fade outdoors. The timbers are held together securely with large bolted fasteners. We love the bench cushions, or without and a custom seat cushion would provide a far more tailored aesthetic, if one wished to have one created.

We love the softened, curved and rounded edges the artisan used in creating this special piece. See less
