This is an Art Deco Skyscraper-style end table or record stand, attributed to designer Paul Frankl.
It has a drawer that goes through the piece opening on either side, making it quite handy. The piece is interchangeable and finished on all sides.
The body of the table is done in silky American Maple, and the details are highlighted in black lacquer. It stands on a plinth base.
The bottom of the table has four numbers that are presumably the model number, though through our research (as of yet) we are unable to concretely attribute the piece to any specific designer.
Great little piece!
The table measures 13.5 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and 24 inches high.
