Set includes white, glazed porcelain base, new, never opened freezer pack, and round, glazed terra cotta serving tray; brass apples shown for scale only (not included). This would make a perfect display and serving piece for a cheese course, with a few grapes and a slice of quince paste. The freezer pack is an optional, yet ingenious element of the design. If not used, the space under the terra cotta platter could store extra crackers or toast points.

Great, minimalist set that is perfect for serving chilled foods in a beautiful manner for get-togethers. The terra cotta platter could be used independent of the other portions of the set, as could the white portion, even as a serving piece for something like a fruit salad, due to the taller sides.
