This vintage Hull Pottery oven-proof bean pot with lid showcases the warm earthy tones and functional design that made American mid-century stoneware so beloved.
Finished in a rich brown drip glaze, the pot features a rounded body with small side handles and a fitted lid with a ribbed knob. The dramatic cascading glaze around the rim creates a beautiful organic effect, transitioning from creamy tan to deep chocolate brown over a warm rust base.
Produced by Hull Pottery in the United States, this piece belongs to the company’s durable Oven Proof stoneware line, designed for both cooking and serving. The sturdy construction and glossy glaze make it equally attractive as a decorative kitchen display piece or collectible American pottery.
Marked “Hull Oven Proof USA” on the base.
A wonderful addition for collectors of Hull pottery, mid-century kitchenware, rustic farmhouse decor, or vintage American stoneware.
Estimated Date: Circa 1960s
(Hull produced the Oven Proof line primarily during the late 1950s through the 1960s.)
