An antique maple wood Jenny Lind bobbin spool blanket or towel rack.

The descriptive term is after the 19th-century Swedish opera singer Johanna “Jenny” Lind, who toured the United States in the 1850s. Her popularity inspired manufacturers to use her name for spindle-style furniture.
