A rare C.A.S. (Ceramiche Artistiche Solimene) Vietri double candleholder from the 1940s in the brutalistic style of Guido Gambone who designed for the studio in the 1940s before he set out on his own with La Faenzarella in the mid 40s. This piece is very characteristic of his style with a similar use of color and thick glassy glaze.
This piece almost has a western flare in this turquoise glaze and horseshoe shape.
