The upper … Read more Antique Victorian monumental fireplace mantel made of mahogany in a dark stain with an upper and lower section. The upper section features five beveled mirror panels, egg & dart details, multi tiered displayed shelves, carved spindle supports, and carved lion motifs. The lower section features a wide shelf, ornately carved panels, and massive rectangular pilasters with deep relief carvings. The mantel is in good solid condition with cracks and missing carved details throughout the piece. The mirror displays signs of fading with noticeable age spots.
