A pair of newly refinished teak and mahogany two-tier end tables by Michael Taylor for Baker’s “New World” collection, made in the USA c. 1950s.
The teak tops are similar in color to the mahogany sides and surfaces of the lower tier, showing a contrast in grain patterns between the two woods. Ebonized mahogany frames compliment the signature brass medallion drawer pulls seen in a number of Taylor’s designs.
The pair is in excellent refinished condition with no conspicuous imperfections.
