The fine art hand-pulled silkscreen print is created by the artist Carol Chapman in 1994. Carol Bodendieck Chapman ( B. 1936 ) the Contemporary artist was born in Kansas City Missouri, and educated at The Kansas City Art Institute, Smith College Northampton, and The Art Students League in New York. She is a longtime resident of Carmel California. Her work is held in many prestigious private and corporate collections throughout the world, and has been published by Christie's Contemporary Art and The Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris.

The versatility of Chapman's stylistic signature artworks ranges from Realism to Abstraction including landscape, portraiture, and mixed media, with an emphasis on color, space, and light. While studying in Europe she developed a lifelong affair with the concepts and palette of Impressionism. Her works are strongly influenced by Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, and David Hockney.

The rare out of print Contemporary limited edition framed fine art silkscreen print measures 23 1/4" W X 28 7/8" H X 1 1/2" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern golden honey oak wood satin eggshell finish museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age, and very light signs of handling.
