Large wooden antelope mask from the Krumba Adone in Upper Volta. Tribal traditional art, a sculptural antelope head in a very stylized form. Carved from one piece of wood with original polychrome patterns over most areas. Crafted to balance on top of the head, and the figure is covered by attached rafia or cloth to the bottom holes.
Size 76" tall, 23" deep, and 8.5 wide.
