A charming set of six vintage blue and white willow butter pat plates featuring the classic chinoiserie landscape motif with pagoda, bridge, birds, and stylized trees. These petite dishes measure approximately 3.5 inches in diameter and are marked “Made in Japan” on the reverse.
Small butter pat plates like these were traditionally used at the table for individual butter servings but are also wonderfully versatile today. They work beautifully as tea bag rests, salt or condiment dishes, ring dishes, or as part of a blue and white china display.
The timeless willow pattern and crisp cobalt blue decoration make these a lovely addition to traditional, English-inspired, chinoiserie, or grandmillennial interiors.
Each plate measures approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.
