Originating from Zimbabwe, this contemporary Shona stone carving reflects an abstract approach to the human figure through softly modeled contours, an elongated neck, and a serene facial expression. Hand-carved from stone, the sculpture emphasizes spirituality, emotion, and the enduring visual language associated with Shona artistry. The variegated surface and polished detailing bring depth to the form while highlighting the individuality of the piece. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. See less
