Born in England, Alan Falk studied painting at Manchester College of Art & Design. Following postgraduate studies, he was awarded the prestigious Granada Fellowship in Fine Art. He taught painting and drawing at several colleges of art in England, and was represented by major London galleries and included in numerous international exhibitions in the U.K. and Europe, before immigrating to the United States in 1974. Since his arrival in the U.S., Falk has continued exhibiting in group and museum exhibitions including National Academy of Arts & Letters, Albright-Knox Gallery, Buffalo; New York International Art Expo; Minnesota Museum of Art; Columbus Museum of Art; Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn., Kunsterner Hus, Oslo, Norway and Amstelkirk, Amsterdam, Netherlands, as well as solo exhibitions at major galleries that have represented his work, including E.P Gurewitsch, AM Sachs & Katarina Rich Perlow galleries in New York City. His work is in numerous public, private and corporate collections in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. See less
