Distinctive vintage silverplate tilting tea set, made in India, including a handled teapot on stand, creamer, and lidded sugar bowl. The dramatic swing-frame teapot and paw-foot forms reflect Victorian revival taste, a style widely produced for export from India in the mid-20th century. Indian metalwork has deep roots, and export centers such as Moradabad became especially known for decorative brass and plated wares for Western markets; this set was likely made circa 1960s-1970s, though the exact workshop is unknown.
