This beauty of a chair is early mid century and is in the Biedermeier style with those lovely scrolled carved arms.
Likely American, the chair reads Biedermeier in design given the design of the arms.
The legs are gently carved. The chair is very comfortable with a soft recline. The arms of the chair support you in comfort.

The black thick upholstery is newer than the wood chair frame yet still vintage. The upholstery is in very nice condition.

The original wood finish shows off the nice grains. The frame is tight and sturdy as intended.
