A truly monumental vintage sculptural floor vase crafted from tightly wrapped rattan over a wood form. The striking hourglass silhouette creates a dramatic architectural presence, making this piece as much sculpture as it is décor.
Standing an impressive 51 inches high, this oversized vessel makes a stunning statement styled with tall palms, dried branches, or simply displayed on its own as a sculptural accent.
The layered rattan construction showcases beautiful natural variation and patina that only time can create. Pieces of this scale are increasingly difficult to find and bring wonderful Old Florida, island, and organic modern character to a space.
This example comes from my personal collection, and sometimes it’s simply time to let special pieces move on to their next home.
