This finely … Read more A beautifully cut American Brilliant Period (ABP) crystal bowl dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. This finely executed example features deeply cut hobstars, radiating fan and diamond motifs, and a bold geometric panel design that reflects light brilliantly from every angle.

The bowl is richly decorated both inside and out, with a striking central starburst in the base surrounded by intricate diamond cutting and repeating hobstar panels. The sharply notched sawtooth rim adds architectural elegance while emphasizing the depth and precision of the cutting.

The clarity and weight of the crystal, along with the crispness of the cuts, are characteristic of high-quality American Brilliant glass produced during the height of the period between approximately 1880–1915.

A lovely decorative object that also functions beautifully as a serving bowl for candies, nuts, or small confections. The brilliant facets create wonderful sparkle under natural or ambient light.
