The chair is beautifully upholstered in a rich Chestnut-colored leather that they called "Etruscan Brown". The leather shows some signs of love and age, but the chair is overall in great condition.

There are two styles of nailhead trim on the chair. Larger nails dot the bottom of the chair and a smaller, more traditional nailhead go up either side, on the arms and over the backrest.

The chair sits on wood block legs in a stain similar to the leather.

Tag notes National Upholstery Company, which is now closed. The tag also notes McNamara & Hirschman, which is where the chair was purchased in 1998.
