Crafted in the French taste circa 1980, this tall giltwood mirror reflects the refined elegance of Louis XVI design. Standing almost six feet in height, the piece offers strong vertical presence while maintaining a slim and versatile profile.
The narrow rectangular frame is accented with delicate beaded molding along the inner edge, creating a clean architectural outline that feels both classic and balanced. The top is crowned with a carved shell and scrolling crest, finished in a softly distressed green and gold surface that adds subtle depth and decorative interest without overwhelming the form.
