Antique chest of drawers with a tilting mirror
and 3 drawers made of
natural-toned american tiger oak
(tiger oak), suitable as a dressing table, but also as
a dining room sideboard, hallway chest of drawers,
or for the guest room, etc.
a beautiful chest of drawers
from america, dating from around 1900.
a gem for any room,
in its original condition.
the chest of drawers is familiar from old
american films and was
often used as a film prop,
just like the maddox cabinets.
the tilting frame holds a faceted mirror
with a silver overlay, as they used to be
made. The faceted edge
was even hand-cut
back then. A mirror like this
alone would cost around €800 today,
if you could even find one.
