Featuring soft, organic shapes and subtle colors ranging from clear to blue-gray, it reflects Nordic craftsmanship in the art of glassmaking. The vase is vintage and dates from the 1960s. It is made of thick, transparent, and blue-gray glass. The lines are all rounded and very soft. Signs of wear are visible in the photos. The vase bears the engraved signature of the Holmegaard glassworks, the artist’s signature, and is numbered on the base. Holmegaard is one of Denmark’s most renowned glassworks and produced some of the country’s most beautiful blown glass pieces during the 1950s and 1960s.
