An oversized amber glass brandy snifter featuring a diamond optic pattern and a short pedestal stem.
Produced in the Empoli region of Tuscany, Italy, this style of glass became an icon of Mid-Century Modern decor. While Empoli has been a center for glassmaking since the 14th century, the 1950s and 60s saw a boom in 'Verde' and amber decorative glassware exported globally to satisty the modernist craving for vibrant color and geometric textures.
