A 1940s French oak drop-leaf side table in the manner of Charles Dudouyt. The rectangular top extends with hinged leaves, supported by twin pedestal legs carved with ribbed cylindrical details. Resting on block feet and joined by a stretcher, the design conveys solidity with subtle Art Deco influences.
Measuring nearly three feet wide when fully opened, the table is compact when closed yet expands with ease—equally suited as a dining table for two, a writing desk, or a versatile side table.
Condition: Great vintage condition. This table has been professionally refinished by our team of restorationists, giving the oak a warm, even tone. The top is not original to the table but integrates seamlessly with the base. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
