Originally created for i4Mariani in 1974, the piece comprises three interlocking elements: a tufted circular seat with leather belt detailing, a square pouf, and a cube with an inset circular void — all united in a low-slung, architectural silhouette.

Reupholstered in Mokum’s Bespoke velvet by Catherine Martin in the color Sienna, the fabric radiates jewel-like intensity with its lustrous, plush finish. A removable chrome surface adds visual tension, playing with reflection and space, while geometric cut-outs nod to Italian postmodernism. A functional artwork, this rare piece is as much conversation as it is comfort — an icon of expressive form.

Guido Faleschini (1935-2006) was an influential Italian designer and architect, renowned for his work in both furniture and interior design.
