A 1950s French armchair hewn from solid oak, its architectural frame defined by weighty proportions and hand-forged iron hardware. Exposed dovetail joinery and a timeworn surface bear witness to decades of use, with a rich patina that deepens its character.
Newly upholstered in soft almond cotton velvet, the medium-density foam cushions provide a plush counterpoint to the chair’s rugged, sculptural form.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with age-related wear to the oak frames, including surface scuffs, scratches, and indentations. Rich patina to the iron accents. The frames have been fitted with new medium-density foam cushions, upholstered in soft almond cotton velvet.
